We have been here for you since 1907
Until 1907, there were only four simple mountain farmers’ cottages along Zelený potok, who harvested hay on the undeveloped Little Plain. Hotel Hvězda was built in 1907 by Stefan Meergans under the name Frühlingsheim, ie “Spring Home” and was the first new building for tourists in this part of Pec. The construction of a three-storey house was a great achievement at that time. The inn on the timbered ground floor has been in operation continuously for over ninety years and has retained its original appearance. During the First World War, tourism ceased and returned to the mountains only after 1923, with him construction work around the Green Creek. In the four years 1928 to 1931, ten houses were built or completely rebuilt along the dirt road, others were built until World War II. This created the only one in the mountain village, and therefore Hlavní ulice. After 1938, construction stopped here for fifty years, new houses could not be built until 1989.
